Q.  What work do you do?

A.  FAME is the only organisation solely dedicated to helping Australian species most at risk of extinction.  Since 1993 FAME has helped bring more than 20 unique Australian species back from the brink. We do this by funding conservation and research projects that increase the chances of survival of endangered species.
Visit the 'about us' section of our website for information on our founders, history and achievements.

Q. Where do you get your funding from?

A. Nearly all of our money comes from individual supporters. Our supporters are the financial backbone of our work. It is thanks to them that we can help to save endangered species.  Please consider joining with us.

Q. Are contributions to Fame tax deductible?

A. Yes, donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Fame is a Deductible Gift Recipient, it is also a prescribed organisation on the Australian Government Register of Environmental Organisations, a Charitable Institution and an Income Tax Exempt Charity with taxation exemption benefits.

Q. I'm only young, what can I do to help?

A. Why not get your friends together and organise an event at your school or club to raise money for Fame ?  You could organise a casual day, drawing competition or garage sale.
You could also email links to our website to your friends and relatives.

Q. I'm a teacher. Does Fame have educational material that I can use?

A.  Unfortunately, we don't have materials specifically designed for the class room. We do however have some brochures and stickers that we can send you - please call 08 8374 1744 during office hours.
